Diagnostic and Treatment Standards at Adent

Treatment at Adent follows three steps: diagnosis → treatment plan → precise execution. Imaging diagnostics include on-site point X-rays and, depending on clinical indications, a panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan. Endodontic treatment is performed under a surgical microscope at 16–25× magnification, using rubber dam isolation and nickel-titanium instruments. Digital scanning with a MEDIT i700 scanner replaces traditional alginate impressions and takes about 5 minutes per arch – the scans go straight to the prosthetic lab or are used to print surgical guides.

Healthy periodontium as a prerequisite for implantation. Healthy gums, confirmed by regular hygiene treatments, are a condition for qualifying for implantology – active periodontal disease is the leading cause of implant loss. We treat gum health and hygiene as the first stage of every tooth-replacement plan.

Experienced Team of Specialists

The Adent team is made up of dentists from different specializations who have worked together in one clinic for years. Patients can continue treatment with the same trusted specialists – even after a longer break between visits. We treat children, adults and seniors alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does root canal treatment hurt?

Root canal treatment performed under local anesthesia is painless – the procedure itself should not cause pain. At Adent, endodontic treatment is carried out under a surgical microscope using rubber dam isolation and NiTi instruments, which minimizes the risk of complications. Mild sensitivity around the treated tooth may occur for 1–2 days afterward, resolving on its own or with a standard over-the-counter pain reliever.

How many visits does root canal treatment take?

In most cases, root canal treatment at Adent is completed in 1–2 visits. The first visit involves removing the pulp and preparing the canals, the second – the final filling and a prosthetic consultation (crown). Multi-canal teeth or cases with chronic inflammation may require a third visit.

How much does a dental implant cost in Warsaw?

The cost of a dental implant with a prosthetic crown in Warsaw is approximately PLN 3,000–6,000, depending on the implant system, the scope of imaging diagnostics and the type of restoration. An exact quote is possible after a consultation including an evaluation of a panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan, which allow the volume and density of the bone to be assessed. See dental implants and the price list.

Implant or bridge – which to choose for a single missing tooth?

An implant is a more durable and more conservative solution: it does not require grinding down the adjacent teeth (which a bridge requires as abutments) and it prevents jawbone loss after tooth loss. Osseointegration of the implant with the bone takes 6–12 weeks. A bridge is a faster and less expensive option, appropriate when bone conditions or general health make implantation impossible. The choice is preceded by a clinical consultation including an X-ray evaluation – see implantology.

Why is healthy periodontium important before an implant?

Active periodontal disease is the leading cause of implant loss, which is why periodontal health acts as a “gatekeeper” for implantology. Before implantation, gum inflammation is brought under control and regular hygiene treatments are carried out: scaling and sandblasting.

What is the difference between scaling and sandblasting?

Scaling removes tartar (mineralized bacterial deposits) with an ultrasonic scaler, both above and below the gumline. Sandblasting removes soft deposits and discoloration (from coffee, tea, tobacco) with an Air-Flow powder stream. Together, both treatments form a complete hygiene visit, recommended every 6 months – a prerequisite for orthodontic and implant treatment.

Can I be treated at Adent in English or Swedish?

Yes. Adent offers full dental care in three languages: Polish, English and Swedish. One of our dentists holds Swedish certification and is a native speaker of both Swedish and English – a rarity among private clinics in Warsaw, valued by international patients and the local expat community. See our team.

How quickly can I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked by phone (+48 22 406 42 10, +48 535 999 460) or through the online form. In urgent cases – toothache or a broken tooth – we try to see patients the same or the next business day. The clinic is open Mon–Thu 9:00 am–8:00 pm, Fri 9:00 am–3:00 pm.
