How Teeth Whitening is Performed
At our clinic, we use only the safest teeth whitening methods, employing trays filled with a whitening agent. This process does not damage the tooth’s hard tissues while significantly brightening tooth color. Patients can choose from several whitening methods. At Adent, we offer three methods: Philips NiteWhite personalized tray system, LED lamp whitening, and whitening for non-vital teeth.
Opalescence Whitening (At-Home Method Supervised by a Dentist)
- Providing Opalescence products for at-home use
- The treatment lasts approximately 7–10 days
- We use three concentrations of whitening agents—10%, 15%, and 20%—selected individually by the supervising dentist
Whitening Non-Vital Teeth
- Cleaning and preparing the interior of the tooth, then placing a whitening agent inside
- Replacing the agent several times over a few days
- We use the same three concentrations of whitening agents as in at-home treatments (10%, 15%, 20%), chosen individually by the supervising dentist
LED Accelerated Whitening
- Whitening is done with hydrogen peroxide activated by the SmartBright LED lamp
- Before the procedure, teeth must be cleaned of tartar and stains, and cavities must be treated, either permanently or temporarily
- Teeth designated for whitening are isolated and covered with a strong whitening gel
- The procedure is repeated four times during the session
Important: The whitening effect is visible immediately after the procedure, but the final color stabilizes over approximately 14 days. Each session lasts about 45 minutes, and most patients require a repeat session after 10–14 days.
